硕士研究生:Zhiyang Zhang, A Square Honeycomb Sandwich Panel Filled with composites (Load Bearing Performance).
Compared with typical competitive structures such as corrugated, truss, foam core, the square honeycomb sandwich panel generally has a significant advantage in load bearing performance under the same weight. In addition, as far as the preparation process is concerned, the square honeycomb core is more convenient to be filled with ceramic or composite material to achieve the application requirement of anti-penetration, which is a promising composite armor protection structure. Considering the load-bearing and penetration protection requirements of the ship bulkhead structure, this report proposed a new hybrid sandwich structure composed of a square honeycomb core filled with bulletproof composite material (UHMWPE/Kevlar) to replace the stiffened panels. Corresponding conventional mechanical performance tests (in-plane compression, in-plane tensile and four-point bending) are carried out for the structure to prepare for the subsequent multi-functional optimization design.

In capillary flow, there have been quite a number of applications, such as microfluidic fuel cells, paper based rapid diagnosis methods, biological printing, shale gas transportation, body fluid transport in human body, functional hydrogel design, MEMS design and control, and spacecraft Propellant Management Devices. The study of capillary flow in rectangular channels is relatively late, and the flow in an undulated channel is different from a flat channel. The apparent contact angle changes, which leads to changes in capillary force, so it is necessary to study the spontaneous flow of liquid in rectangular microchannels with undulated wall.
