Personal Details:

Dr. Ni’s research work is focusing on the dynamical performances and energy absorption mechanisms of hybrid-cored sandwich structures including analytical, numerical and experimental analysis; constitutive relationships of materials including UMAT subroutine developments; design, optimization and mechanical analysis of bio-inspired structures; 3D printing structures and so on.

Dr. Ni has published more than 10 journal papers, 4 patents, and several conference papers. Products based on Dr. Ni’s work were exhibited on 2014 China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition in Zhuhai and 2015 International Defense Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) in Abu Dhabi.
