Dr. DENG Jian obtained his Ph.D. at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, China. He was visiting the College of Mechanical Engineering, Cardiff University, UK from 2015 to 2016. His current research interests include mechanics of composite materials, composite structural design and analysis and numerical methods, etc.
