In modern warfare, the anti-ship missile acts on large surface ships, and the consequent in-cabin explosion will cause serious structural damage and casualties. The corresponding load is not a single explosive shock wave, but explosive shock wave and fragments with armor piercing effect. How to design protective structures to resist these two kinds of loads is an urgent problem to be solved in ship structure design. In order to meet this need, our team put forward the concept of full protection structure design, that is, filling particles in matrix metal. This design concept takes full advantage of the excellent impact and explosion resistance of matrix metals, the anti-penetration of discrete particles and the reduction of explosion waves, and achieves multi-functional coupling, and achieves a multi-functional lightweight protection structure with better comprehensive performance.
